Elizabeth Gilbert - Discover the Creative Spirit
Begin the day with two powerful keynotes with Alena and Elizabeth Gilbert. One powerful keynote from Elizabeth Gilbert, as she expands on “Thoughts on Creative Living” .
For years, Elizabeth Gilbert has been meeting people who tell her that they long to live more creative lives, but are somehow blocked by fear — fear of criticism, fear of failure, fear of stepping out of the box, fear of unworthiness, or fear that they don't even have a creative bone in their body. Using stories from her own life of creative exploration, as well as experiences from her world travels, Gilbert will show how "everyone is invited", and will explain how absolutely everybody — no matter what their background or position in life — can benefit from exploring and expressing their own inherent creativity. She will explain how every human life is a creative endeavor, and that creativity is not just a privilege of artists. Defining a creative life as "any life where your decisions are guided by curiosity instead of fear," Gilbert will open up her audience's imaginations to the possibility of seeing creativity, and their own journeys, in a lighter, more easeful manner.
For our VIP guests, follow up the morning with both Alena Chapman and Elizabeth Gilbert with an intimate and interactive lunch and Q&A! A great time to solidify some solid ideas from the morning and to begin to access your creative spirit.
Matt Taylor - The Art of Notebook Making
Taught by Matt Taylor, a leading global thinker, architectural designer, you will learn the basics of documenting your creative ideas with VIVID clarity to manifest your ideas into the physical realm and chronicle the lineage of your life’s work going forward. Why would that be important?
Learn how to meaningfully document your soul’s creative genius like the historical masters, including Leonardo Da Vinci, Charles A. A. Dellschau and Emerson.
Thought itself can be a work of art IF it is properly documented. As the above video illustrates, Matt has been a master documenter of his creative thoughts and work for more than 62 years. He will guide you through the steps.
Receive a journal and understand the PROPER way to journal for growth, transformation and creativity. Discover the benefits of slowing down the creative process and nudging the creator towards employing all of one’s cognitive modalities and skills. Elevate your ability to facilitate a meditative state-of-mind. Engage the hand, producing a greater range of mind-body integration. Embed a level of expression that the author will not see until later when revisiting, and dialoguing with, the self s/he no longer is.

Alena Chapman
I’m known for working with clients around the world to help them identify what their soul is calling them to achieve in life, from a space of compassion, non-judgment, and love. In everyday life I’m a mother, author, entrepreneur, mentor etc. My desire is to help people connect to their soul’s calling, and experience abundance while on the journey.
Over the last several years, I realized the deep connectivity between authentic spirituality and creativity. I realized that spirituality is currently being politicized, romanticized or trivialized, and that this inauthenticity is causing people to tune out because they perceive it’s not “for them.”
Others believe it’s considered elite or inaccessible, and many others reduce it to a mere series of "self-help" steps that miss the elegance and nuance of authentic spiritual connection to creating oneself and a life they truly love, a life aligned with their calling.
After recognizing a need in the personal development space, I created the Inevitable U workshop. A workshop that would bridge that gap so that everyone can pursue their soul’s calling, as revealed through living out a life finally connected to their personal spiritual essence.
A workshop formed with some of the world’s most influential speakers like Elizabeth M. Gilbert. Best known for her 2006 memoir, Eat, Pray, Love, which as of December 2010 had spent 199 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list, and which was also made into a film by the same name in 2010.
